| DAY 1 Arrival in Prague Visit of the Strahov Abbey Library, founded in 1140 for the Premonstratensian Order. The Theological and Philosophical Halls are richly decorated with original frescoes from the 18th century, ancient books and furniture. Loretto is an ancient pilgrimage place surrounding a copy of Santa Casa, little house of Our Lady brought by angels from Nazareth to Loretto in Italy. Visitors can admire a rich collection of liturgical objects of great historical and artistic value (Prague Sun ostensory with 6 500 diamonds). LUNCH Tour of the Prague Castle founded in the 9th century, enlarged and embellished over 1000 years. The St. Vitus Cathedral is an outstanding masterpiece of Gothic style in Prague, the burial place of Czech kings, Prague archbishops and members of Czech aristocratic families. The Wladislav Hall of the Royal Palace, place of middle-age tournaments, serves today the purposes of presidential elections since 1935. The St. Georges Basilica belongs to the oldest structures in the Prague Castle district. St. Ludmila and other princes of the Premyslide dynasty found their resting place in this typically Romanesque basilica. The Golden Lane hides the secrets of royal alchemists trying to produce artificial gold for the king Rudolph II. The famous Kafkas house can be also visited in this narrow colourful street. |
| DAY 2 Visit of the Konopiste Castle, the residence of Ferdinand dEste, pretender to the Austrian-Hungarian throne , killed in Sarajevo in 1918. Konopiste hides a superb collection of hunting trophies, antique furniture, porcelain, paintings and armour from the 19th century. LUNCH Visit of the Nizbor factory, manufacture of the traditional Bohemian crystal. |
| DAY 3 Tour of the historical Old Town Square with the main point of interest - the City Hall and the astronomical clock of the 15th century with a regular defile of 12 apostles. The Gothic Church of Tyn protects an ancient tomb of the famous Danish astronomer Tycho de Brahe. The St. Jacobs Church is well known by its fascinating baroque organ with excellent acoustic and frequent concerts. Visit of the Jewish Town next to the Parizska street. The Pinkas, Spanish and Old-New synagogues witnessed the modest way of life of the Prague Jewish community in the past. We can follow the traces of Franz Kafka, famous Jewish writer, in this part of the town. LUNCH The Charles Bridge belongs to Pragues most famous landmarks. The stone bridge built in the 14th century is decorated by 30 statues of saints and protectors of Czech countries and inherited its name from Charles IV, founder of Prague University. The St. Nicholas Church is the most remarkable presentation of baroque art in Prague. Richly decorated interior hides a monumental St.Nicholas altar, frescos and religious paintings by famous artists of the period (Karel Skreta, etc.). The Church of Our Lady Victorious is famous by a little statue of the Prague Child Jesus (Bambino di Praga). |

4 Visit of Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), spa town in Western Bohemia. This beautiful little town in the valley of river Teplá was founded in the 14th century by the king Charles IV who discovered its thermal sources when hunting deer. The town is known for its 12 sources rich in minerals which have therapeutic effects on stomach, intestines and other internal organs. The quiet atmosphere of this small city invites to pleasant strolls along the colonnades visited in the past by tsars and emperors from whole Europe. LUNCH included Second part of the visit of Karlovy Vary Evening in folkloric style with tzigane music and national dances in pure countryside atmosphere in the suburbs of Prague. DINNER INCLUDED |

5 Tour of the New Town of Prague, the St.Wenceslas Square, a middle-age marketplace where horses used to be traded. Today it is the commercial heart of Prague, surrounded with luxury hotels and boutiques in different architectural styles, the most valuable being Art Nouveau (Jugenstil). The St. Wenceslas statue reminds us of the glorious history of the Czech nation. The National Museum has rich art, literature and theatre collections. The Narodni street leads to the National Theatre built in the 19th century thanks to the contributions of the whole Czech nation. 6 Visit of Ceský Krumlov, the picturesque Renaissance castle and town in southern Bohemia. Thanks to the unspoilt historic core the town was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is a precious Town Reserve with numerous Gothic and Renaissance burghers houses, Church of St Vitus and Museum with art and crafts collections. |

7 The Powder Tower was part of the middle-age fortifications of the town and used to guard the access to the city. Visit of the Municipal House, the most beautiful presentation of Art Nouveau style in Prague. The interior as well as exterior decoration was designed by Alfons Mucha, the Czech painter who became famous thanks to the posters of French actress Sarah Bernard.
